Building Black-Indigenous Solidarity
Stolen bodies and stolen lands define the emergence of this place, and so many others. To achieve safe and liberated futures, we must embrace our shared destiny— and that starts with building Black and Native solidarity.
In greater Phoenix, a BIPOC-led collective has come together to curate a series of experiences called ‘Politics of Place,’ designed to explore the connections between land, food, safety, justice and solidarity. This collective includes: Black River Life, InSite Consultants, Cahokia PHX, SavvyPen, Cihuapactli Collective, Mass Liberation Arizona and RE:frame Youth Arts Center, with support from LISC Phoenix.
